The Society for Classical Learning was founded to promote human flourishing through classical Christian education. Since the mid-1990s, The Society for Classical Learning (SCL) has facilitated thinking and discussion among professionals connected with Christ-centered education in the liberal arts tradition. Together with classicists, teachers, and lifelong learners , The Society provides a space for individuals to share their ideas, experience, and wisdom with each other as they deepen their understanding of classical theory and apply it within everyday, real-world education. The Society is dedicated to historic Christianity, as expressed in the Nicene Creed, and to exploring Christ's relationship to broader culture.
